Science. Software. Solutions.

We are Satelytics. We use advanced, AI-powered geospatial analytics to identify problems before they become disasters—environmentally, financially, and operationally.

Our Mission

Solving your toughest industrial challenges. Satelytics exists to provide “Constant Vigilance™” for the world’s critical infrastructure. We combine the rigorous science of remote sensing with the speed of AI-powered cloud computing to deliver actionable intelligence, not just data. Our goal is to empower our customers to act early, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring the safety of their operations.

Born From Science,
Built For Scale

Satelytics began as a collaboration at Bowling Green State University, driven by a vision to use geospatial data to monitor and protect the world’s water supplies. That academic foundation instilled a commitment to scientific accuracy that remains our core differentiator today. In 2015, Sean Donegan joined as CEO to transition this powerful technology from the lab to the enterprise. Today, Satelytics holds over 12 patents and serves the largest energy, utility, and environmental companies in the world. We have evolved from a research project into the industry leader in predictive geospatial analytics, processing petabytes of imagery to be the “eye in the sky” for our customers.

WHY SATELYTICS?

Scientists, Not Just Software Developers. Unlike other platforms, Satelytics is driven by a team of physicists, chemists, and remote sensing scientists. We don’t just use off-the-shelf AI; we build and calibrate our own algorithms based on the laws of physics and data science. We then work with early adopters to ground truth every new algorithm. This ensures that every alert you receive is scientifically verified and actionable.

Extend asset lifespan by 20%

Cut storm-related electrical outages by 16-65%

Utilities reduce methane leaks by 85%

Satellite monitoring yields ↓40% in vegetation-related outages

Management

Our management team is a perfect blend of creativity, technical ability, and customer focus. They certainly don’t shy away from customer service or hard questions, so feel free to get in touch with them directly using the contact information below.

HARNESSED SATELYTICS

Edward Cheslak

Prior to your analysis we were restricted to photopoints on the ground. Your results allowed us a lake-wide perspective. Your analysis contributed to our assessment and communications that the water quality of Lake Britton was improved by our deep water release.

Mark Schuler

The value clearly comes from finding the leaks...earlier. The inside-driven approach to work scheduling and work planning, the whole efficiency and effectiveness of the work crews is a big part of the value proposition.

Satelytics' invaluable analysis of satellite imagery helps us ensure that we are confident in the results. It's a huge cost savings in comparison to field sampling or traditional modeling.

Dr. James Chatham

I am amazed at the quality and fidelity of the data delivered by Satelytics across our areas of concern. Their technology is unlike anything I've seen at BP. It helped us save a tremendous amount of time and man-hours and gave us a more complete picture than any other data software I've used.

Joshua Beard

This new technology allows my team and me to automate analysis tasks; we get info quicker which allows us to act on it.

Maverick James Raber

Satelytics provides a unique and innovative approach at data analysis. The use of satellite imagery as an analytical tool allows us to peer into the past, evaluate changes over time, and provides cost savings over development of complicated and expensive models.

It changes everything. If you're a natural gas distribution company, you can now report your methane emissions near real-time, versus having to rely upon a report that's put together on an annual basis using emission factors. So this allows us to be able to trace our journey in very accountable and transparent terms as we reduce our methane emissions.
