Southern Company Monitors Utility Rights-of-Way Encroachments

In a joint project with Satelytics, Southern Company needed to find new construction along transmission line corridors in its early stages when moving a structure is still possible. If not corrected in time, this can create a significant problem for the utility which may have to downgrade the affected lines, so they don’t strike the structure during periods of sag or sway.
